Overview
Founded in 1968, Lincoln Community School (LCS) is a recognized international school providing high-quality teaching and a rich and balanced education. LCS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World school offering the Primary Years Program (Pre-K-Grade 5), Middle Years Program (Grades 6-10), and Diploma Program (Grades 11,12) through U.S. curricular standards. LCS’ mission is being a Learning Focused, Leading, and Connected school by providing optimal learning, developing students’ leadership capabilities and collaborating with local and global entities. LCS offers a rich extracurricular program in which students can express their creativity as well as enhance teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship skills. Through LCS service activities, students learn the respect for human dignity and build empathy while working on issues of local and global importance. The school embraces cultural diversity and nurtures the well-being of each member of the LCS community. Currently, there are 676 enrolled students representing 60 nationalities with 13 nationalities within the teaching staff. Graduating students attend colleges and universities in the UK, Canada, USA, Netherlands, France, Lebanon, Australia, South Korea, and Ghana.
