Overview
The Owls’ Nest International School offers a British education in Accra, from Nursery (16 months to 7 years) through to Primary School (4 years to 7 years). The school follows the British national curriculum: the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at the nursery stage and the Key Stage One (Years 1 & 2) in primary school. The school aims to provide a rich and stimulating educational environment to instill a life-long love of learning and enquiry to its students. The Owls’ Nest provides small class sizes with great teacher-to-child ratio where students can receive individual attention and take part in STEM activities, learning through play as well as inspirational and interactive activities. With a diverse group of students coming from 35 countries, awareness of cultural diversity is taught from a young age. The school offers many extracurricular activities and the Saturday morning Learning Center for further development through phonics, reading storytelling, role play and more. By combining structured play, formal learning, physical development and creativity programs, students strive to develop their language and social skills in a vibrant learning environment.
